Dr. Matthew Raso is a NYS licensed psychologist who has significant experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who exhibit a wide variety of behavioral health needs including depression, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in School Psychology from the University at Albany. Dr. Raso is the Committee on Special Education (CSE) Chairperson and Special Education Department Chair at Colonie Central High School in Albany, New York. In addition to his experience working in schools, Dr. Raso has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Clarkson University - Capital Region Campus (formerly Union Graduate College) and Union College (Psychology Department) where he has taught courses in special education, NYS requirements for teachers (i.e., School Violence Prevention, Child Abuse and Reporting, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention, Dignity for All Students Act) and educational psychology.
